Professional
Cable 'Conditioning' Service
As
part of our commitment to our clients and indeed to all the
audio fraternity, TrusoundZ offer a full professional cable
conditioning service consisting of a visual and electronic inspection
of the cable(s) and connectors which involves checking for any
physical damage and electrical abnormalities. If any problems
are found at this stage then the client will be contacted and
informed of the situation so that any necessary repairs may
be undertaken which may involve an extra cost.
After
this initial examination and any necessary repair work completed
the cable(s) are then connected to one of our Blue Horizon Proburn
cable burners and spend the next few days being given the equivalent
of a really good workout or 'burned in' as it is commonly referred
to.

Different
cable types require different 'burning in' times ranging from
48 hours to 72 hours or even longer if necessary and electrical
power cables and power blocks requiring additional safety testing
(see important note below) which accounts for the pricing differentials
for the different cable types.
Please contact us directly to use TrusoundZ
cable conditioning service, either by email
or by telephone on +44 (0) 1457 869889 when
shipping and payment details will be made available to you.
Please read the important note below regarding the servicing
of power cables and power blocks
With
regard to detail 7 and 8, listed above, (Power cables and TrusoundZ
power blocks), it should be noted that all power cables and
power blocks will undergo PAT testing (electrical safety testing)
in accordance with current U.K. health and safety legislation
prior to the cable 'burning in' process commencing and depending
upon the result of the PAT test, either a Pass or Fail notification
will be attached to the cable being tested. If the cable or
power block fails its PAT test then the client will be advised
that it is unsafe to use in its present condition.
If
repairs are not possible or are not authorised by the client
then a £12.00 administration fee + return shipping + VAT
will be charged to cover any costs incurred and the cable will
be returned with an unsafe / failure notification stating that
it should not be connected to the mains supply and should be
disposed of in a safe and environmentally friendly way.
Any
payment received in advance for the cable conditioning service
relating to the failed cable will be refunded minus the administration
fee.
A
copy of the failure notification will be kept on record.
