TrusoundZ U.K. range of 13 Amp screened power blocks are available with either 4, 6 or 8 standard 3 pin U.K. sockets. The high quality power blocks we have chosen to use are made in Europe and supplied to us as high quality trailing sockets.

We completely strip down these trailing sockets, throw away the cable and then modify and rebuild them to our own high standards using the same 1.5mm sq. screened cable that we use in the construction of our high end power leads. The screen from the cable is cleverly continued through the outer aluminium case of the power block thus ensuring that both the power block and the cable are screened to a very high standard thus significantly reducing the EMI and RFI eminating from within both the cable and the power block which improves the sound quality of the system quite noticeably.

The cable we use with our power blocks is what we believe to be the very best power cable available from one of the finest cable manufacturing companies in Europe. The cable of choice for our power blocks is a 3 core cable (live, neutral and earth) with 1.5mm sq. conductors individually sheathed and colour coded in accordance to U.K. standard. The cores themselves are constructed from many fine strands of pure copper wire in accordance to VDE0295 Class 5 / IEC 60228 Class 5. These 3 conductors are oversheathed with a soft flexible PVC jacket which is then covered with a fine tinned copper braided screen and then oversheathed with an outer flexible PVC jacket. We then finish this fine cable to suit our own finished standard by braiding it with a black polyester (PET) monofilament expandible sleeving held permanantly in place by adhesive lined heatshrink material.

The 3 pin U.K. standard plug we use to terminate this fine cable is the popular MKToughPlug which is a hospital grade 13 Amp plug fitted with gold plated pins and a silver plated 13 amp fuse holder and is widely regarded as the best domestic / commercially available 13 Amp plug to use for Hi-Fi and home theatre applications.

All of these great components are meticulously assembled together by our skilled engineers in such a way that prevents virtually all EMI and RFI from being emitted from the power supply system resulting in a much improved sonic performance from your system.

All power cables and power blocks manufactured under the TrusoundZ branding are individually identifiable and are tested for electrical safety prior to being released into the public domain for sale. A green coloured 'Electrical Safety Test Pass' label containing the serial number allocated to that particular cable / power block is securely attached to the equipment as confirmation that the cable / power block has completed and passed our safety test procedure in accordance with U.K. health and safety regulations.
